Bidra med feedbackBeautiful view and our server was very nice and accommodating. Food was good. There was a good variety on the breakfast buffet. My only things is I'm gluten free and it would have been nice if there was more of a gluten section. In the pastry area the had one gluten free muffin but it was in shelving unit with regular pastries and there was only one tong to get them out so you knew there was cross contamination. There were a few items not labeled with any allergies like potatoes and salad dressing, it would have been nice to know if they were gluten free.
I ordered a turkey sandwich and a hamburger. As expected from a luxury hotel. It did not disappoint. I was able to enjoy a relaxing meal while feeling the Hawaiian atmosphere. I went there twice during my stay.
Kahala has long been famous as a luxury hotel with dolphins, but if you think about it, it's amazing to see dolphins in the pool. The open terrace restaurant located on the same floor as the pool had an open and resort feel to it. I had the pork cutlet, which was filling and delicious, and I thought it was a reasonable price for Kahala.
The Plumeria House at the Kahala Hotel and Resort is fabulous. Superb food, breathtaking view and attentive gracious service. Highly recommended for a meal fit for Hawaiian royalty. My mother enjoyed her Mothers Day lunch and is looking forward to her next visit.
We ate here for dinner and two breakfasts. The French onion soup is a must and I really liked the Hawaiian style cheeseburger. The breakfast buffet was very good but I just can't eat that much anymore. We did have breakfast off the menu a well and it was quite good. It is expensive but everything is on Hawaii. Beautiful setting and very relaxing. The service was very friendly although not fast but who cares when you are sitting in such a nice place.
