Le Saint F - Nice

My girlfriend and I wanted to have a nice last day in Nice. We booked a table for 2 persons (at 21:30) two hours before. As we arrived the chef told us that he has no place for us because there was an order for...20 People this evening. I told him that I got a confirmation for the table today. He replied he wasnt even knowing about my reservation. I showed him my confirmation on my phone but he couldnt offer me any warm dishes. The place looked nice, friendly and welcome for young people and even the chef neat. Despite I really feel sorry to give 2 star.

With only a day notice the owner Denis put together a great meal for 37 rugby players. The only complaint I heard at the end was that it was too much. Something I haven’t heard often from my friends. The service was great, very little...wait on drinks and very attentive service. Food was basic and well prepared. If you are looking for a very affordable and well prepared cooking (it reminded me of home cooking) and especially a very attentive and service oriented place, please pay them a visit. Lastly they have a heart of gold. The next day they rang me to tell me we overpaid for the evening.

We visited on a Saturday evening and were treated very well with attentive service from the friendly waitress. Good choice of starters and mains. Excellent value drinks and wine. Delicious goats cheese salad, cheese burger and fish and chips while not traditional French fare...were served with a French twist. We'll be back and are happy to recommend to others.

A part from the house red wine, all we had was really great! 4* only because of the red wine which was too warm and not that great according to my taste. But all the rest was really good and I would come back with...no hesitation. Price too is good, music as well. I mean, check it out, in the worst of the cases you had something better than the average place in Nice anyway.

Back from sardaigne, I decided to give an opinion on this place of the old-Nice, without drum or trumpet, but super good, after having inscitated me on tripadvisor. It's been a while since I've come to eat because it's very good and very good value for money, healthy, and tasteful. If you have the chance to walk in the old nice, towards the fish market, the place st françois, in the heart of the Autehntic oldnice, if you are looking well, below you will find this unique restaurant in terrace as pleasant in summer as in winter, but which is worth the detour, whether for a simple glass or a sublime hamburger (delicious) or a niçoise specialty, or tapas. the pieces of meat that the boss carefully selects, are tender and tasteful. Nowhere else we'll offer you this, at this price. fish side, tastes are sublimated. frankly for a formula less than 13€ with entrance (sometimes with the garden salad or the local goat cheese) dish of the day drink, and the all hearty, and especially tasteful and prepared with love, you can not deceive yourself. Frankly, this place deserves to be stopped. a lot of locau inhabited come there, isn't it the best sign? a recommendation. You won't be disappointed.
