The Western Door: A Seneca Steakhouse

The meal was spectacular; the steak was cooked to perfection, and the sides and dessert were absolutely delicious. I also want to commend the amazing manager, Hal, who was one of the nicest people I've encountered. He ensured everything ran smoothly during our visit and kept everything organized for the guests. Interestingly, we were there on a night when a woman tried to cut in line while waiting for a table. Hal handled the situation with remarkable professionalism, reminding her that there was a line and that she would need to wait. Despite her anger and repeated attempts to confront him, he remained remarkably calm and composed. I honestly don’t know if I could have managed that level of professionalism under pressure. Overall, our experience was excellent in every way, and I can't recommend The West Door highly enough.

We had a fantastic experience here last Sunday! The food was incredible, and Kathy's service was top-notch. We relaxed, had a great time, and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Extraordinary! We’ve been coming here for a few years to celebrate our anniversary. The atmosphere is welcoming and intimate. We like to dress up, but it’s definitely a place where you can come straight from the casino if you’re in the mood. The staff is attentive and friendly, and the service is always a pleasure. The food is incredible—the steaks are cooked to perfection (I even enjoy my well done, and it's still incredibly tender), and everything else we ordered was wonderful as well. The drinks are also delicious. I highly recommend visiting The Western Door.

After a two-year stay due to COVID travel restrictions returned to the western door in the seneca casino. although the casino changed and the restaurant menu was streamed, eating and the service was still a lot of top notch. as much as I missed her bone marrow appetizer, the chopped salad was a healthy substitute. my wife and I both had the bone-in crucible steak with roasted flower cabbage and wobble rings. the steaks were perfectly cooked with medium rareness, the cauliflower was beautifully roasted and the wobble rings were crispy. the waiting staff was extremely friendly, attentive and professional. my wife and I were glad to see that some things have never changed. it was like returning to a warm, familiar place. we will come back to the final when the restrictions are lifted.
