If this place didn't have great intentions, it wouldn't be in business. The food is at best mediocre. I would recommend skipping this restaurant and just paying to go to the observation deck, which offers just as good, if not better, views without the pressure of subpar food. Honestly, I think I would have had better meals in a hospital than here. The service was very good, which is the only reason they earn any stars at all.
They don't waste their money here. Instead, they simply visit the viewing deck. the prospects are great and they will not be disappointed. I can't say the same for eating. the main rib was tasteless the part, small. add insult to injuries, the sweet was tasteless underboiled. even the garlic butter could not help the eskargot. I had much better believe in black angus. this place is only for the ambiente. I'll say our server, john p., was fantastic.
I really wanted to give this place 5 stars, I really did. but eating was not 5 stars. the service was great and so was the view, but eating was missing taste. it's a circulating restaurant, but I didn't feel sick or anything it's very slow. At first I ordered a moosehead beer that was great. for the appetizer I had the calamari it was okay nothing from the ordinary. I ordered her ny steak, it was tasteless. I also had a side of mushrooms that tasted awfully I think they overdid it with the garlic or something, but I couldn't even eat it. the mushrooms were removed from my neck. Overall, it was not great to eat, nothing I would order again and I would not come back to eat here. that was the only thing that was spectacular. all in all I would say, pay only for the sternwart and perhaps come, have some drinks in the rotating restaurant.
As a group of reunion, we came here for the spectacular view that this turning restaurant can offer. The food and drinks are acceptably good. The service was great. It is a fast pace, massive dining room with a panoramic view that everyone who is in Toronto must try. We tried the pre fixed manu with bread and butter, salad, soupe du jour, and a choice of entree, and a chocolate mousse. I had the grilled steak and a glass of local Pinot Noir. My guest had the Salmon and a Pina Colada.
