Relic On State Street - Newtown

Our steaks were spectacular, my daughter had the Salmon special which was enormous she thoroughly enjoyed the flavor. The cozy ambiance was perfect for a night with family.

The food and service are great, but there is no wine list and few wines to choose from. When asked about bringing my own wine, they said they would charge an obscene $45 corkage fee. If they don't get this fixed. I won't be back very often.

Loved the scallops, crab soup and swordfish special. Great ambiance and always impressed when an owner stops by to ask how is everything. We will be back.

Relic restaurant on State Street is one of the best in the entire area. The food is always terrific, whatever you order is always prepared. Exactly as you want. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and wine list. We have dined at the relic the number of times and it is always a wonderful experience.
