Chinatown restaurant - Newtown

My family has ordered from Chinatown for collection and delivery about once a month for a whole year. The family that operates this business is always very pleasant, both on the phone and personally. The order is always a breeze and it always comes completely. They are very conscientious and accommodating about the fulfillment of special orders. That's our favorite lookout restaurant because food is not heavy or fat. I see other critics who call their style Bland, but we call it fresh and light and are very happy with it because spices and sauces can always be added, finally. Yes, the prices have increased like all food prices since the pandemic, but we are very satisfied customers who like to put our money on a family that work pleasantly, hard and cares about doing it right. You do not know that, but they have two busy, exhausted parents of a small child some much needed rest and comfort food allowed, so THANKS Chinatown!

A spacious and cozy restaurant with an upper level when busy. The menu is both Chinese and English and they have chiffel and forks and knives for convenience. The service is fast and the waiters are nice. The food is fresh, delicious and authentic. The decor makes the restaurant inviting. There can be no parking nearby. I recommend starting the tomato soup. There is a well cleaned and well maintained toilet, and the floor seems to be swung and often shiny as it is very clean. There is free Wi-Fi; just ask the waiters for the password.

My husband and I went for the first time and loved this place. Your food is delicious, made with fresh ingredients. The menu is huge, as well as the price range. They have both Chinese and Japanese foods, which makes the place two in one. If you like Asian cuisine, this place is for you

Guess it's the best Asian restaurant in Newark, Kearny and Harrison. I am so glad to find a restaurant that still offers stable and reliable premium food during the pandemic. Hope more ppl could support good local companies like these. And together we thrive.

Its a very cozy place to spend time with a loved one. Chicken curry is one of the best dish they have so far. Every other plate has a good amount of meat and is delicious. Sometimes the lady owner there can be a jackass but thats something i can ignore. No wine collection so a minus one there. But you can bring your own.
