West Deck - Newport

The staff was fantastic, and we had a wonderful time enjoying drinks and lunch by the water for my friend's bachelorette party. Kenny and Cheryl were great and set the perfect tone for our day! A big cheers to them!

I ordered the salmon poke bowl from here yesterday. The food tasted great, the wait staff was very kind, and it was an overall good experience. A few hours later, I developed food poisoning. I hadn't eaten anything other than this yesterday evening, so I'm confident that it was the cause. Update: My mom spoke with the owner regarding the situation, who was very surprised and apologetic. He himself was eating a poke bowl at the time. He offered to remedy the situation with a comped meal or a gift certificate, which we are supposed to receive via e-mail. My mom informed him that we truly just wanted to let him know to avoid the situation from happening again. I hate to say anything negative about this restaurant, but five days and an urgent care visit later, I'm still dealing with the ramifications of this meal. To those eating here, perhaps choose a dish without raw fish in it.

I'm so glad we stumbled upon this hidden spot! We were looking for dog friendly restaurants in Newport and this place had the highest rating on Bring Fido. It's off the main drag and it's right on the water! A great spot to enjoy boat watching! The food was excellent! I enjoyed a tuna poke bowl and my husband devoured his overflowing lobster roll. Drinks were delicious and service was awesome! This might just be my new favorite spot in Newport

The Deck is an overall a great bar. The staff are friendly, the service is quick, the music is rocking, and the vibe is immaculate. I misplaced/lost my wallet there last weekend, and the staff have gone out of their way to check the cameras, review the footage, find my wallet, and even return it to me. If your looking for a good time, the Deck is the place to be. 5/5 Stars for sure.

We are here for a girls weekend... Reggie the manager is great and so welcoming. Staff awesome. Food is delicious! We def recommend this restaurant. Location is near the wharf and it is so cool.
