Bidra med feedbackStrong!. Stone Imperial Russian Stout on tap? Jambalaya quesedilla? You gotta be whackin' me! Newport's about as far away physically and culturally as one can get from San Deigo and New Orleans... Yet Norey's brings it all together seamlessly with its own in-house vibe. Great plumbers-and-lawyers crowd- waitess made these transients feel like locals. Unbelieveable selection of national/international crafts brews. Specials are where it's at on the menu. Humus among the best in the world. Nice and noisy w/ no need to shout while conversing. Totally reasonable prices all the way around. Best joint in Newport- period.
I tried to buy a beer and I was told I had to take my hat off. I thought the bartender was joking and laughing and she was the rudest. Not sure if it's still the same owner as it was years ago. I will never forget this as one of the worst experiences in a bar/van restaurant I've ever had. there were two people who were fed there. I left right away. my son was just born in the newport hospital and I wanted to go and take a drink to celebrate. this experience is burned forever in my memory. I wouldn't give me a beer with a hat. I've never been happier running out of a bar. surprising that they are still open with this policy.
That is the best in South New England. not only does it present world class beer in 20 taps, 1 cask, 100 plus bottle, it is also a 5-star district bistro with a menu that changes daily. if I want to drink a beer that is only found in Europe, I don't want to eat a burger or a nachos. I want a great meal to go with him. norey’s has the best cook on broadway and everything is made in the house, including the house smoked chicken wing. the homemade pasta is fantastic. it rivals any Italian restaurant in newport. bolognese, goat cheese tortellini with homemade sausage, lobster scampi, chicken pesto, bourbon bacon pappardelle, more. the entire staff can...read more
Large selection of craft beers, respectable wine selection and eating was excellent. service was fast and friendly. this place found on the urban spoon and we are grateful. we have two small children and although they do not have a children's menu, they were very accommodating.
No, great beer selection, but terrible service. came on a Thursday evening for beer and eat and went immediately after a round. the worst, completely unobtrusive and prone to the beer. we had to yell at him to make us pay for the round. we just go, but that was just bad in everyone's sight.
