Flashbacks Fountain Grill - Newport

Exact atmosphere we were looking for, great ingredients for eating, but as much as I want to go 5 stars, give a 3. the food came out really quickly, which on the temperature of all our roasted fryed and tweeled rings meant that we got the 15 minute old things, instead of freshly roasted. the burgers were good, but the planters were not freshly cooked, but rather reheated as fresh. but again all ingredients were really good quality. the calculation at the end on the basis of the reheated/cold objects was high. probably won't stop here again, but if they're lucky to get all hot, stop a rewarding one.

My man and I arrived at our anniversary weekend and fell in love with this diner! the personal is absolutely amazing! they want to be sure they are happy. eating is my goodness. it is divine. we've eaten here before we went home. we have decided that this will be our place when we come to newport. if they give great food and stop a wonderful friendly atmosphere in them an attempt?

Great burger! we had the curile pommes they were hot and well seasoned! we also had the fruity limonades and both had good amounts of real fruits. the atmosphere is wonderful retro with great music and decor!

Can someone check to see if my son still has the high score for the punching bag game? (haha) My son called the chicken strips immaculate so that is good. I had a teriyaki burger which was good but the onion rings were pretty bad. They were definitely not fried fresh there and likely bought frozen and cooked. Overall, I'd probably call it 3.5 but not 4. I would say it was more expensive than it was worth, but you are in a tourist area.

Service was great and love the diner feel. The prices were INSANE though. I ordered a cheeseburger and thought it would be a handmade patty (or at least taste like one), but it ended up tasting like a frozen Great Value brand patty. When we sat down and looked at the menu we almost just left when we saw a BLT for $14-$15, but figured we would try. Won’t be going back.
