Honeysuckle - Newcastle

Organizing my boyfriend's surprise 25th birthday party at Honeysuckle was a breeze thanks to the functions manager, Megan! The night went perfectly, from the delicious food platters to Megan arranging the cake stand and decorating the room for us. A special mention to Mimi at the bar for making setting up the bar tab easy and quickly providing a microphone for speeches. Both Megan and Mimi are valuable assets to Honeysuckle Hotel! I highly recommend Honeysuckle for any event or function.

The venue was excellent value for money, with stunning decor, great music, delicious food, and they even allowed me to decorate the space. The staff were outstanding, easy to communicate with leading up to the event, and took great care of me on the night. Despite some rain causing a bit of havoc, the manager and event staff went above and beyond to ensure it was a fantastic night. I want to give a special shout out to Megan, Mimi, and the Honeysuckle Hotel team for making my farewell party a grand success. This heartfelt thank you goes out to all of you. I will definitely be hosting any future events here when I return from my travels. Cheers!

The platter for sharing was fantastic, the staff were friendly and had great attitudes. The food was served promptly and cooked perfectly. I truly enjoyed my experience and wanted to make sure the staff knew how much I appreciated it. Thank you.

We booked the 'Honeysuckle Room ' on the lower level for my brothers 21st. The venue was comfy and a perfect atmosphere for the event! The staff who dealt with the booking were super accomodating and made the whole process really easy. I thought the room hire was also incredibly affordable. We had canapés on the night, the staff were friendly, on time and the food was great as well. Overall we were very pleased with the whole experience and I would certainly hold another event here in future.

This place gets a bad wrap sometimes but it's always great to me the Sunday afternoon bands are a great addition with really friendly staff 5 stars from me
