Bidra med feedbackMe and my family have been going for a few years now and have always thought the food, especially the breakfast bagels were really nice and good value. I have, however never been too impressed with the attitude and general customer service skills of the majority of the staff they come across as unfriendly and unwelcoming. However, I normally brush this aside since I enjoy the food. After myself and my mum’s recent visit however we do not want to ever visit again. To start off with, we were served by a woman who was as I said before, very unfriendly and unwelcoming. Even a simple ‘good morning, how are you today’ costs nothing and makes a customer feel welcome, but you won’t get that here, just staff that look moody. Me and my mum both ordered bagels. I ordered the halloumi and avocado and my mum ordered the salmon and cream cheese. When mine arrived, it is normally filled with a few good sized slices of halloumi and a thick layer of avocado, and this time I opened the bagel up to just see one tiny, thin halloumi slice on top of a thin layer of avocado. We sent this back as it wasn’t up to the usual quality and the woman was rather passive about it and unapologetic. She just sort of went ‘do you want a refund or another one’ quite abrupt. I decided to get another one which had more filling, but the bagel was pretty much burnt on the outside which took away a lot of the flavour. My mum’s bagel as well had less cream cheese in it as usual, so the quality definitely wasn’t up to the usual standards. There was another man working who was more friendly and did slightly lighten the experience. However, it is not the first time we have experienced bad customer service skills from staff in here. There was no thank you or goodbye when leaving either. Definitely just would not recommend. It costs nothing to be kind and friendly to make customers want to return and recommend your business.
We were disappointed to find that there were very few dessert options available, especially considering there had been plenty in the past. It could have been because we visited in the afternoon on a Saturday, but it was only 3pm. The overall atmosphere of the place felt neglected and unclean. Our experience was disappointing and we do not plan on returning.
First time visiting this place and I will definitely be returning. Great food and lovely staff!! They were so welcoming and talked me through the entire menu which is very useful as I have allergies and they were so accommodating. I had the satay bowl and it was amazing I’d highly recommend.
I’ve been here probably around 6 times. The food is okay, the smoothies are good. But the place is so unreliable with the opening times that it’s mostly always closed when you’ve made your way to it. For example, now the opening times today say 8am-6pm. It is now 1pm and there’s still no sign of it opening. Such a shame as it’s located in such a handy area for people! Also a bit annoying as I have to walk all the way there to check if it’s open as they never answer their phone.
Great value for money and all the main food (the stuff you fill a bowl with) was gluten and dairy free (not that you’d guess). and refined sugar free GF DF brownie/ cheesecake style desserts
