Hal's Homemade Jerky - Newcastle

Truly some of the best jerky you can buy! Hal and his wife are as nice and kind as you can find! The seasonings are good but natural is the best!! Great service and great jerky!

The restaurant is now known as Bubba's Jerky. They serve delicious jerky and have an excellent lemon pepper seasoning. It's definitely worth the 30-minute drive to get there!

We ordered jerky from this restaurant and were really looking forward to it. We went out of town for Thanksgiving, and when we got back, it showed that our order had been delivered. However, when we searched for it, it was nowhere to be found—someone had stolen it from our mailbox. We contacted the restaurant to explain what happened, but they said it was out of their hands once it was shipped. They also mentioned that package theft is rare, which anyone who orders around the holidays knows is not true. As a result, it looks like our nephews are going to be very disappointed come Christmas, since that jerky was all they wanted.
