Jack's Restaurant And Bar - Newark

I have tried the FRENCH DIP and fries at this restaurant before, and it was just as perfect as a classic French dip can be. The roast beef was excellent, the bread nicely toasted, the au jus savory, and the horseradish creamy with a hint of spice. The fries were crisp and well-seasoned. However, with delivery, the packaging collected a lot of moisture, causing the fries and bread to arrive soggy. I had to air fry the fries to re-crisp them. I believe using vented packaging would greatly reduce the sogginess.

We absolutely adore Jack's! Their Classic Burger with fries is amazing! The burger is always made just the way you like it, and the fries are perfectly crispy. Some people complain about the fries, but it's their own fault, not Jack's!

The GRILLED CHICKEN SKEWERS are very delicous. Even just the presentation of the food is beautiful. Will order again.
