Bidra med feedbackA lovely pub with friendly regulars and wonderful staff. The drinks are always spot on and nothing is too much trouble. Great location for lunch, dinner and all kinds of alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages. Highly recommended, is within a short walking distance for us and our local.
I revisited the Lurcher today for a Sunday dinner and was pleasantly surprised by the delicious meal prepared by the talented young chef, Jack. I am confident that he will continue to excel in his career as a chef. My meal consisted of a beautifully cooked pink beef with amazing flavors that I thoroughly enjoyed.
My family lives in a village in Wiltshire and we were visiting relatives in Rainworth. We decided to try the local pub for Sunday lunch. They offered a choice of three meats and either a classic or premium roast. I chose the classic beef and it was tender and delicious. The meal included a variety of sides such as peas, roast potatoes, parsnips, Yorkshire pudding, carrots, creamed potatoes, and red cabbage, with the option of extra gravy. They even had crisped parsnip skins. It was great value for the money and cooked perfectly. The staff were friendly and we would definitely return.
Been in today, ordered nacho’s with a drink, they were amazing, staff are brilliant and the landlady is amazing, would recommend to anyone.
Haven't been since it reopened. Sorry we hadn't been sooner. Our barman/server was very nice and professional Gammon steak. Beautiful and no waste. Chicken burger. Tasty with the cheese topping and it had a Fabulous zing to it. We will be back and can now recommend it to friends.
