Bidra med feedbackNeeded to look for something quick and cheap and I def found the spot! Second diner I’ve ever been to in NYC I liked it. The grilled chicken Caesar wrap was a bit bland to me but the waffle fries REALLY GOOD FOUNTAIN SODA (had to capitalize the letters since fountain soda usually sucks anywhere you order from) def. made up for it and my waitress had a bit of a weird attitude with my table and another I saw before leaving. I loved the vintage decor to the diner the bar looked stack which was nice to see.
This is a NYC institution, at least for us. Food. Amazing. Service? You feel like you're in a Seinfeld episode where you're half being ignored, and at times being talked down to. This actually makes it fun. We've been several times over the years. Piece of advice, do NOT reserve a table on Open Table. You will not be able to fight your way through the crowd to be seated. Stand in line, wait your turn, and enjoy the amazing food.
This is the perfect place to start your day. Great service from attentive staff. I worked my way through a fair portion of the menu and was never disappointed. Wheelchair access is via a lift in the New Yorker Hotel lobby. Once inside the diner, the staff will sort suitable seating area.
A bustling diner right off Penn Station with a wide open filled with staple plates. Friendly service, clean table, very busy. Mostly tourist friendly but with New Yorker flavors and details.
Alright. This place deserve to go out of business. There is human hair in the food (2nd picture). A piece of a Taco looks like is bitten by a human (1st picture). Restaurant have very limited food options. They use to have tots and that's what the restaurant is known for. But now, foods are very limited. Now, that I found hair in my food. I don't think I want to go back there again.
