This restaurant offers some of the finest Japanese cuisine in New York. While the omakase is on the pricier side, it's undeniably fantastic. However, the à la carte menu presents a real bargain. The sirloin is cooked to perfection, and the crispy feather roll is delightfully surprising with every bite. The standard rolls are outstanding as well. The prices are so reasonable that you might forget it actually holds a Michelin star.
The menu offered very few options for vegetarians. We ended up feeling quite hungry after ordering almost everything vegetarian we could find, even though it wasn’t necessarily what we wanted.
Squid and oktopus were not best. the rest of our dinner was pleasant
Not much that I can say about this place being that everything we wanted to order they were out of. The duck tataki was decent but ended up ordering the grilled hamachi and it was disgusting. It wasn't even hot and I don't think it was even grilled. Took a bite and put my utensils down. Not sure how they got a Michelin star but we were unimpressed. A horrible birthday dinner. Never again.
