Gleason's Tavern - New York

We were incredibly fortunate to stumble upon this charming gem amidst the chain restaurants and busy atmosphere of Times Square. Our family of six had a fantastic meal in between Parts 1 and 2 of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, and we definitely plan on coming back. The menu is extensive, the food and cocktails are delicious, the service is exceptional, and the cozy decor was perfect for a rainy evening.

I had made reservations for breakfast at 7:30AM on Sunday, October 13th to meet some friends for my birthday. Unfortunately, Gleason's was closed until much later on Sunday mornings. It seems they have not updated their profile on opentable. This makes me question their attitude towards customer service and if their food quality is as poor as their service. Opentable should consider removing them from the site until they update their information.

I went to this restaurant for lunch with some friends. Three of us ordered the chicken pot pie, but we were disappointed with it. While the crust was nice, there was very little chicken (1/4 inch cubes) and the celery was undercooked. One friend ordered a BLT and another had the salmon scramble, which they said was decent. I probably won't be returning to this restaurant.

Restaurant was wonderful! Food was amazing and our server was so great! Nice quiet place in the middle of all the noise.
