Bidra med feedbackThis is always a go to stop for me whenever I visit my friends in NYC! They live right near the restaurant so it's always free delivery they're always quick with prepping the food, but it always is warm so fresh! Very authentic Mexican food the prices are not bad at all; got 1 large burrito 4 tacos filled with steak for just over $25 bucks including tip
While walking to the 1 train to 145th Street, we stumbled upon this restaurant that caught our attention with the delicious smell of tacos wafting outside. Intrigued, we decided to give it a try and ordered their Chicken Taco, Mexican Sausage Taco, and Cactus Taco. It was our first time encountering a Cactus Taco on a menu, so we were curious to taste it. The cactus had a slightly sour and acidic flavor reminiscent of green beans or okra, making it a unique and tasty option for a veggie taco. Our favorite was the Mexican Sausage Taco, a savory and spicy Chorizo taco that never disappoints. The Chicken Taco had a mild yet flavorful taste that was also juicy. Overall, stumbling upon this restaurant was a pleasant surprise, and we enjoyed our experience trying out their delicious tacos.
ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING SERVICE!!!!I did a order pick up and when I got him and tasted my food (I got steak tacos) the steak was absolutely BLAND. I went back and in a super nice way explained that they were bland and they I didn’t want my money back just a do over. The man at the counter had a NASTY attitude which I brushed off. He calls the woman from the back and they begin tasting the food and speaking badly about me in Spanish (not realizing that I speak Spanish as well). When my order is done they lady just tosses my food in the bag and tosses it to me as if I did something to her. I still politely say thank you and as I’m walking out the guy says “No more change” smh. Super unprofessional and rude, never again oh and guess what? The meat still wasn’t seasoned smh. I don’t feel bad now that their kind gets discriminated again, that was completely unnecessary.
We found this place on our way walking to the 1 train to 145th Street. We smelled tacos from outside and we all of a suddenly craved tacos so we gave it a try. We ordered their Chicken Taco, Mexican Sausage Taco, and Cactus Taco. This was our first time seeing Cactus Taco on a menu so we wanted to try it out. We didn't know what kind of Cactus it was because we know there are various different kinds of cactus but it was a nice option for a veggie taco. It had a slightly sour or acidic flavor, similar to green beans or okra. It was tasty overall. Our favorite was the Mexican Sausage Taco, it's always been our favorite and go-to taco. The Chorizo taco was savory and spicy, You never could go wrong with ordering a Chorizo taco. The Chicken Taco has a mild and savory flavor that was also juicy. Overall, what a great restaurant to come across when you are in the neighborhood.
