Applebee's - New York

I liked my steak, but it could have had a little more season, but overall it was okay? Food: 4/5

Had dinner there just before seeing 'Wicked ' which was a block away. It was very, very busy but the staff was great. The food portions were huge and very tasty. I have to say that my med-rare steak was initially overcooked but they corrected it quickly and then it was cooked to perfection and so tasty. They still managed to get the bill to us quickly and we were able to get to the show with time to spare.

September 16 I went to Applebee's to have a light lunch while I waited to fly out. I went upstairs to the bar and was waited on by one of the best customer service persons in the restaurant business, Crystalla, upstairs in the bar. Wow, Crystalla was personable, pleasant, and attentive. She greeted me when I sat down, and was really happy. She took my order, she was patient, she constantly cleaned the bar top and more. While she was the only one working in the bar and had other customers in the bar to wait on, as well as making drinks for the customers for the other wait staff, Crystalla always wore a smile. If that was not enough, when Crystalla went to pull a glass down to make a drink, she inspected it. If it was not spotless, Crystalla rewashed it. I watched her re-wash glasses that did not meet her expectation of cleanliness. Crystalla is truly the gold stander. If you are ever on 42nd, and need a quick bite, go to Applebee's and ask to sit upstairs in the bar and ask for Crystalla...SHE IS THE BEST in CUSTOMER SERVICE there is.

Love it the best I love the spinach artichoke and the wings but they can make the wings harder who eats soft wings yuck

It's located in the heart of Time Square. Surprisingly enough it wasn't crowded. The atmosphere along with the service was great. Not a long wait at all. We had all you can eat bones chicken wigs but without the fries. Honey/BBQ sauce and Garlicky/Parmigia sauce are good. They give you 9 pieces to start. If you want more it comes 5 at a time.
