Bidra med feedbackI ordered the vegetarian tasting menu while my friend went for the land sea menu. We both opted for the beverage pairing to accompany our meals. The service was excellent as expected, and the restaurant's aesthetic was beautifully curated. Despite its noma origins, we visited on a Thursday night and were surprised to find it wasn't as crowded as we anticipated. The vegetarian tasting menu cost $125 and the land sea menu was $135 before tax and tip, with no included service fee. However, with the beverage pairing, our total came to almost $600 after tip, so it can add up quickly. It's a great spot for a special occasion, but I'm not sure if I could afford to come back anytime soon. Unless, of course, I win the lottery.
Beautiful, complementary foam water. unique menu not for everyone. they served us the wrong escape, but they did not offer to take it off from the bill.
The restaurant is a shadow of itself since the opening. foods are not so good and inventive. I had a duck for 44 and got 2 small discs escaped! weinliste is good and interesting. service was great. the restaurant was empty on Friday at 18.30
Agern has a nice dining room nice and surprisingly quiet, since it literally steps from one of the busiest corridors in the grand central station. the brot, the appetizers and the desserts were great when a little elborate. (the waiter has to explain what is all, both before and after arriving at the table. the escaped were a slight disappointment; good, but too hard to try to be imaginative and innovativ. the restaurant is incredibly comfortable for those who drive over subway north and perfect for a mid week celebration. frankly, if there were a bit cheaper, we would go there more often.
A unique place. Excellent and unusual food, perfect service, quiet. The only negative is the price of wine by the glass, which is much too high. But there is good beer at normal prices.
