Ada Wine Bar - New York

The food and service at this restaurant were fantastic. While the wine by the glass options were a bit limited for a wine bar, the selections available were of high quality. The only downside was that the radio playing with commercials was not enjoyable.

Not a very pleasurable experience. Service was terrible. Food was okay. Bar menu limited to beer and wine only. Ordered dessert but it was taking over 1/2 hour to get to the table and we had show tickets so we had to cancel it. Wouldn't recommend and will not go back. Too bad, it was nicely situated in the theater district!

I decided to check out this new restaurant before a concert. It has a modern feel with some Greek influences, and the staff seem inexperienced. The charcuterie platter was good, but it was missing some usual accompaniments. The bread was tasty but came without butter or olive oil. The grilled shrimp came with roasted potatoes (which was unusual) and greens. When I asked the waiter about the greens, he simply said they were "greens" and there was no dressing on them. We tried to order dessert, but they had none available. When I asked for a port, the waiter informed me that it was a wine bar. The two chefs I was dining with found the whole experience amusing.

You need a quiet place to drink some wine and food that is not crowded with tourist tis is the place for you.
