99 Cent Supreme Pizza - New York

My husband, daughter, and I were walking around trying to figure out what to grab for dinner before heading back to the hotel. We saw a long line at a different pizza place and thought, “Long line must mean it’s one of the best NY pizza spots.” As we were waiting in line, I was able to see what the slices looked like, and we immediately stepped out of line. The slices were $4 a piece, and it definitely didn’t look like anything I couldn’t find back at home. My daughter pointed out this sign advertising .99 pizza slices. We figured, “Why not?” The place is not some fancy little pizza joint. It feels like a typical NY kind of spot. The nicest guys behind the counter! Don’t let the price fool you…this pizza is the best! We paid for a whole pie $8). Right out of the oven and into a box. We walked from there to the “1” subway, taking that all the way to the Hilton Garden Inn Financial District). The pizza was still warm when we got back to our hotel!

After a night out or running around the city, I love to get a $2.50 combo. 2 slices and a drink. The pizza is fresh, simple, yet it tastes really good and for the price, you cannot beat it.

Ok, I have to admit that I was a little reluctant to eat here. My son really wanted to try it so we went and ordered 2 pizza slices and a can of coke for $2.75. The pizza was....great! I was actually very pleasantly surprised even to the point we came back here a few days later for lunch! 10 out of 10! Don't expect posh pizza, lower your expectations and you'll end up with a great snack at an amazing price!

Collect pizza as soon as it's cooked for takeaway.it gets really busy at all times. For the price you can't go wrong for a snack.
