Bidra med feedbackThe restaurant boasts a fantastic selection of dishes, featuring Specialty Sushi Rolls, Poke Bowls, Rice Bowls, and Bubble Tea, all served with friendly service. My top picks are the House Sushi Burrito and the Mango Tango Roll.
I really regret thinking that eating here was a good choice. I ended up throwing away more than half of my meal, and now I feel nauseous.
Every roll I ordered, with the exception of the California rolls, contained spoiled fish that had a foul smell. The odor was so unpleasant that it nearly made me feel nauseous. Fortunately, I received the meal for free thanks to an Uber Eats coupon, but if I had actually paid for it, I would certainly be asking for a refund.
The taro milk tea was quite tasteless, resembling more of a watery drink, and the pearls had no flavor at all. To make things worse, I felt pressured to leave a tip despite the terrible service. The server was rude and even threw the straws and my drink at me. This was my first and last time there; I won't be coming back.
When I read all the negative reviews, it feels like we have been to completely different places. I'm talking about the sushi spot in the food court at Royal City Center. I've been a regular since it opened, and I completely understand the skepticism around sushi restaurants in malls. That's probably why my dad was surprised when I took him there. The chef is fantastic, and the food has always been fresh and well-prepared. To my surprise, my dad actually enjoyed going back to the mall — which is a big deal since he usually dislikes them! He ended up having sushi while I ran some errands, but in the end, we both enjoyed some sushi together instead!
