Limoncello South - New Smyrna Beach

Absolutely incredible food, atmosphere, and service. Food was so good we cleared our plates, delicious and authentic. Live music the whole night had the entire restaurant singing and having a great time. Our server (did not catch his name, but he was from Florence and had a NYPD pin on his shirt) was top notch, friendly, and provided spectacular service. We were truly blown away by our dinner experience. Limoncello was my mom's favorite restaurant, she passed last year, and I was determined to come eat at one of their restaurants, and it was an honor to dine here! We will be back very soon. Limoncello is a delightful authentic Italian restaurant with all the charm one might expect. Clearly a locals favorite spot and in one trip it has quickly landed as one of mine. Great menu, with many options and from what I was told the specials vary from week to week. Based on proximity I'm sure the burning question is how does it compare to The Garlic just down the road. It's hard to match The Garlic in its unique and quirky decor, Limoncello can only do so much being is a strip mall. But a restaurant is only as good as its food and Limoncello doesn't take a back seat to anyone in that department. The ability to make a reservation at Limoncello is a bonus compared to The Garlic. If you like Italian food go to both and you decide either way your going to end up having to great meals.

The ambiance is wonderful, and the live music, particularly the personal singer who performed at our table, was exceptional! The food was truly delicious, and the staff offered outstanding service. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

For our main courses, I ordered the pear Gorgonzola raviolis, which were fantastic, while the lasagna appeared a bit dry and was just mediocre. We finished our meal with crème brûlée, which was also just okay. Despite the mixed experience, I would definitely return just for the six pieces of pear Gorgonzola ravioli; they had an exceptional flavor!

I always have an incredible time at Limoncellos. The food is outstanding, the staff is exceptional, and the live music is delightful. We feel like family, and the team consistently goes the extra mile to make sure we enjoy a wonderful dining experience.
