Food was NOT worth the money. Entire restaurant was empty without any other groups or reservations. Do not recommend.

We had reservations for brunch at 9:45. Unfortunately, they did not have a table for us for 20 minutes. Once we sat at the table, it took an additional 15 minutes to pour water and to take a drink order. It also took an additional 25 minutes to get our coffee that we ordered. We had ordered our food and sat at the table for over one hour without any additional communication from the staff. The kitchen may have been shorthanded; but, if the manager and or the wait staff would’ve communicated with us their reasons for a long wait time we could’ve made alternative accommodations earlier. After 80 minutes, we offered to pay for our coffee and walked to another restaurant (Mother’s-5star).

We arrived with a party of eight. Restaurant was completely empty when we arrived for a business dinner at 7:15. Food was very good. Everyone in the group enjoyed their meal, except seven of the meals arrived together and we had to wait 8-10 minutes for the last person to be served. At the end of the meal, we were informed that the checks could not be split more than three ways. We did not think to ask about this in advance, so this is out fault. Still, it’s surprising that a restaurant that is located close to the convention center and is affiliated with a Loews hotel would not be more flexible and accommodating.

When you want to escape for a quiet yet tasty dining experience, this is the perfect place. The decor is beautiful, yet comfortable and the menu was well rounded and tasty.

The Gumbo was slightly salty. I couldn’t finish it. The fried oysters were delicious. The customer Service was grade A.
