Bidra med feedbackOne of my favorite places!!!! Do you make sure you try the chicken salad on Croissant????? Always fresh, always clean and the employees look like they love their job and are extremely polite. Good boy! I'll see you tomorrow
Tl;dr: There were no customers except me and I could still not get a service, 1.5 hours before closing. It is a shame to see such a nicely designed, brand new location so badly occupied. We entered, almost no customers in the building, and definitely no customers at the counter. 4-5 ladies behind the counter, at least 3 of them clearly do not work, one of them in a chair (and some hidden) behind a column, eyes glued on their phone screen. The other two were in or near the back kitchen, possibly at work. I approached the woman who was closest to me, and said sorry about 4-5 times. Apparently, she ignored me. After about 10 seconds, she looked at me and muted something like yes? I said I want a piece of cake, half smile. She said nothing, went to the back kitchen and stayed there long enough that my friend and I just decided to go. This was my first time in this place and I don't want to come back because I obviously can't even get service. We were there at 19:30 on 7/2/2022.
One of my favorite restaurants to go to! It?s not fine dining but more like home style cafe and that?s why I like it. Food is always fresh and delicious. Priced just right?? stud is always friendly thank you everyone who makes our experience here great ?
Always good. Great breakfasts. Even after 10 years, the eggs are just as light and fluffy as I remember. The croissants are delicious and my omlet was really good. There's lots of bread available near the beverages along with lots of condiments, even what seems homemade jellies. Fancy place but priced like a normal restaurant. Great ambiance. You do go through a line like a cafeteria. A fancy cafeteria to where you don't even realize it's set up like Piccadilly but fancy foods like quiche, croissants, tarts, etc. This place is 5 stars and would be higher if I could give more. They sell jarred sauces and other items you may like. Lots of tea and coffee. Service is good, but not table service (servers). It's just a person going around to make sure everyone is ok. I like the set up of this place. I know they sell lunch but I don't know if they stay open for dinner. Highly recommended if you are looking for a good breakfast spot and it's even fancy enough even to bring coworkers or have a business meeting.
Update: I finally found something that La Madeleine doesn?t do well. I ordered the French Dip Sandwich and a Caesar Salad through Uber Eats. The lettuce was starting to go bad. The meat on the sandwich was tough, hard to chew and flavorless. The accompanying au jus was just nasty. I was really disappointed in my entire order and it will probably be a while before I eat here again. Original Review: I?ve never had a bad experience here. The staff always provide good service and go above and beyond in my opinion. The new location is smaller than the first, but it?s so much cuter. On my recent visit, I ordered the turkey cranberry melt and a side of tomato basil soup. I really loved the soup. The sandwich was okay, but could have used a tab more flavor. I did appreciate the fact that the turkey meat was of good quality.
