In our party of three, two of us received our meals while the third meal didn’t arrive until about 15 minutes later. When we approached the maitre d' about this delay, he simply shrugged and said it was the way the chef had decided to serve the meals. I remarked that no proud chef would serve two out of three meals at once, to which he replied that it wasn’t a five-star restaurant but rather casual dining. To add to our frustrations, we had to pour our own wine. When I mentioned this, he asked if we had told our server that we wanted our wine poured. Isn’t that their job? Most decent restaurants don’t appreciate guests pouring their own wine. He had an answer for everything. We didn’t want to let this ruin our evening, so we decided to take it all with a sense of humor. In the end, he did comp our late meal, which was a nice gesture. It's a shame about the shockingly poor service that night, as we had enjoyed good service and food during our previous visits. Sadly, that was not the case this time. Maybe the maitre d’ was named Manuel!

Needed a quick spot for 8 people. Food was very good. Fresh warm bread. Server was fun and enthusiastic.
