Faubourg Wines - New Orleans

I just bought 3 bottles of wine from this lovely establishment that I’ve been a customer of for years. The woman working was very unpleasant on the phone prior to me arriving. I did not have my card handy at the time of the order and kindly asked if I could give it to her when I arrived. To her annoyance , she allowed. Warning me they close at 7 I assured her I would be there within minutes as I live around the block (order placed at 6:40 pm). As I got there she was very rude to me and as I thanked her many times, she just stared at me without saying a word. I’ve never had this happen at my former neighborhood wine store. Apologies to her if I placed an order 20 minutes prior to closing and picked it up 10 minutes prior to closing. Was not too excited on how she treated a loyal customer of the wine shop.

This is a really lovely, cozy local wine shop. They offer more than just wine; if you're in need of beer or other beverages, they have that too. Additionally, they carry fresh cheese and bread.

The staff was friendly, and there were excellent affordable wine options during my vacation.

He first heard about this place from a good friend a while ago, and it truly lives up to the promise of being a fantastic neighborhood wine shop. The ambiance is great, and the wine selection is outstanding, offering a wide variety to fit any budget. They even have a daily rotation of different wines available for just $5 a glass! If you're a wine enthusiast, this is definitely the spot for you.

Cat met me at the shop hours before opening time, so that I could pick up my order early and get on the road to the beach. How nice is that! Not to mention the Prosecco and other selections were delicious. Thanks Cat!
