Te Amo Tequila Tacos - New Haven

Went in on a hot Sunday afternoon. The place has a very nice vibe to it and has good music. The cocktails menu is interesting. It's a nice place to go in a group. Ordered corn on the cob and liked it.Food: 4/5

Overall 10/10. Only thing is we ordered passion fruit margaritas and they came out sour! We got mango margaritas instead, they were great.

I ordered online last night and Ive never had a problem with the food here until yesterday I ordered three things with my boyfriend this was the baja shrimp tacos.Food: 1/5

The food was great but the customer service is poor. The waitress came to us very few times and we had to order from other random waiters that would walk past. They give you a 90 min limit to eat regardless of where you are in the midst of your meal. When asked to speak to the manager the manager stated that it is to prevent people from drinking too much but there were people at our table that weren’t drinking and since when is 2 drinks too much? . I think it is outrageous that the place had a bunch of empty tables and they were literally asking people to leave. Regardless of how good the food was, I am all set off this place given the poor customer service and inability to explain this at the beginning. I don’t go places to be rushed . To wrap it up, we were sitting for 90 minutes and received a total of about 15 minutes of service.

Been coming here for years. One of my all time favorite taco spots. Highly recommend the “margarita drink flight” and the habanero mango tacos.Food: 5/5
