L'Orcio - New Haven

We went.for two friends birthday dinner. The food was great. The waiter was suppose to bring out the desserts with a candle and did not That was disappointing. He was very nice but absent at times. No candle or centerpiece on the tables and none of the tables were set upon arrival. We had a good time and will return but hope some things are tweaked.

Booked L’Orcio early on the day we wanted to go and the only time available was 7:45, a bit later than we wanted. When we got there (7:30) we were seated immediately by the hostess. Big plus! Our server was attentive but not intrusive and provided great service throughout the meal. We shared an appetizer of eggplant and ricotta/chives. It was delicious! For dinner we had the chicken scallopini and the ricotta ravioli both were served quickly and hot! They were outstanding! We’ve been to L’Orcio a number of times and have never been disappointed! Bravo!
