Yellow Tavern - New Harmony

One of my favorite places to visit in New Harmony. Great vibe, tasty food, and good prices. It is cash only, but they have an ATM inside (there is also a public ATM down the street at the bank, on Church near Main). Good selection of drinks as well, a couple tvs for sports/entertainment, and a jukebox, too.

Yellow Tavern is THE place to go while in New Harmony. The sear on their steak is perfect every time. CASH ONLY but an ATM is available by the restrooms. A little pricey as everything is a la carte but the food is so good! Everybody raves about their pizza. MUST BE 21

YUM YUM! For gluten-free diet: I recommend the grilled chicken breast, no bun. Great food and atmosphere. I love the local decorations. Limited seating. Cash only for payment, but there is an ATM onsite.

Yellow Tavern in New Harmony IN is always great. A variety of food options, appetizers, salads, sandwiches, pizza or steak. Cool old bldg. Friendly service Cash only, but ATM available

We were Camping Harmonie State Park decided to go to town Friday 16. September for lunch. Six of us have put an older female server on our table. She wasn't friendly from the beginning. It was like she had a chip on her shoulder. One of us asked for ketchup when the food was brought out. After 10 minutes we had to ask again. She did everything we wanted. As soon as the ketchup was brought to our table, she said she would drink us refills as all our cups were empty. Instead of getting our refills in time, she waited for other tables that wipe two tables next to us. I asked her politely if we could get our drink refills if she had a moment. She just saw me laugh. After we finished our meals, she finally got our refills. Overall, the food at best was on average the service was very bad. Never go back.
