This is a cute lil spot in a nice rural town. The service is good, and the food and beer have never disappointed! We've been here a few times already, and will definitely plan to go again!

We ate here during covid, when outside dining was allowed, July 2021, our picnic table almost toppled over when 2 people sat on one side before someone had sat on the opposite bench only reason I 'm giving it 4 stars, not 5. I had the bangers and mash excellent. Two farmers sausages with an 'ice cream scoop ' of mashed potatoes and cooked veggies which included several grilled vegetables delicious. The menu had some authentic Scottish fare, I don 't think my teenage kids cared for it but a gastropub doesn 't aim for that demographic. My wife had the vegetable curry which was a masala but when I tried it the taste seemed very similar to a butter chicken so, the vegetable curry is like a butter chicken without the chicken.
