Bidra med feedbackWent for an afternoon tea at The Rosie Lea House and had the best time. We first came in December for breakfast at Santa and the kids were desperate to to back. It’s an idyllic setting in the forest. We’d just been on a muddy dog walk and the kids were ravenous. We went for the ramblers savoury afternoon tea which was amazing. I don’t have a sweet tooth so was pleased to see the savoury version of an afternoon tea. Cheese scones were a headliner with the marmite and bacon chutney. Every staff member we had was really attentive and kind but want to give a special mention to Marilyn who remembered us from Christmas and made such a special effort with my children, asking them questions and remembered things they had said at Christmas. It made their day… that and all the excellent cake. The food was sublime but the customer service we received was truly special. We also took our dog this time who was treated like a member of the family as he should be. Round of an applause to Marilyn and the rest of the staff. We will be back.
Visited Rosie Leas for lunch and it was our first visit . Both our chooses for lunch were very good . All the food seemed freshly made and present perfectly. The waiter was very efficient and nothing was too much trouble . Enjoyed it so much I have booked again to come back for afternoon tea with friends .
We called in for breakfast on the off chance of a table being available. We had a lovely warm welcome and a sincere and friendly greeting. Menus arrived quickly and a drinks order was taken swiftly. The breakfast menu was extensive and varied. Our food was plentiful, beautifully served perfect! No matter the staff member, all were friendly and attentive. We did buy some cakes too and highly recommend the banoffee cookie pie! We are going back for lunch next Sunday! We highly recommend breakfast here!
First time coming here. Big portion of food! Waiter was very kind to my granny offering her cushions for her chair. Service was friendly and drinks and food came promptly. My granny and mum have been back since and I hope to soon!
Took my mum here as a surprise for her birthday, we went for the cream tea with Michael Buble tribute afternoon. What a great time we had. Food was amazing, service was great, the place has a lovely atmosphere and the tribute singer was brilliant, couldn't have wished for a better way to spend the afternoon. They looked after us really well and made us feel very welcome. Last year we took mum to The Ivy and we all agreed that Rosie Lea House was better by far. Couldn't recommend them more.
