Rose And Thistle - New Forest

We stumbled upon this amazing old pub that had low ceilings in some areas. The food was fantastic, the service was excellent, and the manager was great. Despite it not being close to us, we drove 50 minutes to get there and were so glad we did not leave disappointed. We will definitely return and maybe even plan a nice walk before or after our next visit.

This restaurant is more than just a pub. Locals have always known it as a go-to spot for delicious food, and our lunch experience only confirmed that reputation. The menu offers a variety of options for everyone.

I had recommended this very high, my parents went to a mini-width at fordingbridge. they have dined twice here, as they said, they liked the menu so much.

Great Sunday dinner, warm and friendly team, good service nothing too much annoying we will certainly diners.

A hidden gem that still delights whether it is in the secluded beer garden for a quiet evening/lunchtime drink or in front of a roaring open fire on a crunchy winter day! also the diners do not drink too ashamed. if I could only transport it to my hometown, but then I would not have liked to visit the beautiful rockbourne village
