Main Event Newark - New Castle County

UPDATE: We went for our usual date night last night, 9/26/24, to main event. Surprised to see new games and the few broken ones from before were fixed. Also they have a new menu with some great new food in the Family Kitchen. I tried the sliders and they were so good!!! I also loved the Shirley Temple. Can't wait to try out more of the new menu. Also I can't remember the bartenders name but he is just Amazing!! Very Friendly!! We go here for date night every once in awhile and sometimes it's good. Sometimes it's not so good. A lot of the games don't work or are broken where they're not working correctly like the shooting game not having a target that it should have for just one instance. Food is usually good when we go. We always go on a weekday night so I'm not sure how busy it is on the weekends but the weekdays are usually not too busy.

This establishment invites nothing but misfits (kids parents alike). I've never seen any security there be it a private security company that's not afraid to go hands on or off duty cops. At first, my family was happy that this place opened and we wouldn't have to go to D B in Philly. Now that I see Main Event is no different as it happily invites the same misfit crowd, we won't be going there either. This isn't a once in awhile thing. It's constant everytime we have gone there.

The constant loud low quality pop music blaring out of their outdoor speakers is so tiresome and causes so much noise pollution. There’s absolutely no need to hear it across the whole shopping center. Please turn it off

This was a family event, Delaware is not a big State therefore we have to be proactive to find things to do for the family this summer when they visited, happily we discovered The Main Event and we were not disappointed. Everyone had an awesome time and can’t wait to go back again. Everyone in the group had something to do and enjoyed bowling, zip lining, target shooting, and a variety of arcade games. The amount we spent for a family of 6 six to do all the events was worth it. We didn’t eat however they had a variety of food to choose from. The area also has a variety of restaurants and shopping on the outside and just next door is Christiania Mall and a Cinema. A must whenever you visit Delaware.
