Chef Louis was one of the best restaurants in New Canaan. A place to meet with family and friends with delicious food with reasonable prices. This is no longer the case. The food is overpriced and out of date. Even the burger isnt genuine. I have been 2x in the last month and I wont be going back. Chef Louis is still at the helm and as nice as ever but the kitchen is failing. Wait staff arrogant and rude. Hoping hey get it together

My husband and I usually love Chef Luis, but this time was different. They called 4x to confirm our reservation, and each time we said yes. Our waitress barely gave us time to look at the menu and asked if we were ready in rapid succession. She needed to find out if they had specials. Once we ordered, she never asked how our food or drinks were. I took our seven month old to change her in the bathroom, and while I was gone, the staff asked several times if we were done. I had to hold onto my wineglass so they didn't take it before I was done. The restaurant was not crowded, and we felt rushed.

Absolutely love this place. Highly recommend the rice bowl with churrasco. Chef Luis is amazing, and friendly.

The food was absolutely delicious, and the service impeccable. Chef Luis even came out and spoke to us and gave us a complimentary dessert. It was heavenly. I live in New Haven, but the drive to New Canaan was worth it. I will definitely go back.
