Bidra med feedbackWe had a great experience here! Really good fried oyster appetizer, and shrimp tempura. Outstanding service as well, we'll be back again.
Waited over 1.5 hours for our hibachi chef to start cooking. The waiter and hibachi chef were great and the food was awesome. However, when asked what was taking so long (we asked the manager), we were basically told to they were short staffed and it would be a while longer. It was frustrating because we had made reservations and other groups didn't have to wait as long as we did.
We stopped in for lunch on the way back to Austin. The restaurant was quiet, perfect after a long weekend. Oir serve Harris was fantastic! He was kind, prompt, and attentive. Often times when a restaurant is slow, the servers don't pay attention. This was not the case with Harris. Thank you for the great service and awesome food!
I took my wife here as a special experience that we have never had. Firstly, the experience was not good. The cook dropped his tools several times and seemed out of it. Secondly, the food was average at best. The sushi was dry and the meat was nothing special. I really wish it had been more. But it wasn 't. The atmosphere was nothing amazing. To much slapping and banging of the utensils and yet nothing that was part of the show.
So… for 1, the customer service was not good. The lady at the bar was straight up rude af short. Not even remotely approachable. But that’s not why I’m writing this review…. 11.25 for this over cooked steak. Beef tataki is supposed to be super fine slices of SUPER rare beef…. I also ordered eel that was subpar. Imma pay for my meal, but I’m sure as hell not happy about it. New Braunfels could use a legit sushi restaurant. This ain’t the one.
