Cafe Italia - New Bedford

The meal was excellent. Service was on point and very friendly. The veal was prepared perfectly. The stuffed mushrooms some of the best I have ever had. I high recommend you try this restaurant.

If I could give zero stars I would. I just came in for my birthday dinner at 5:45 pm on a Wednesday and we were sat down by the host and received some bread and then we were ignored for the next 17 minutes not one person came by our table to take even a simple drink order. Out of the whole restaurant there were only 2 other tables out of an ENTIRE restaurant and we were ignored for almost 20 minutes? Terrible service ran by young girls, typical to receive this type of treatment from kids. Will never return to this place again.

Mama Mia! Can we talk about this amazing food. I've been three times this week. That pork osso bucco! Makes me remember those ram shanks back in Edinburgh. I was lucky enough to meet the chef. What a stand up guy, raised in Rome. A true son of Italy cooking savory and tasteful options. I had the soup of the day and suffered flashbacks to my tour in Italy with NATO. If you want to feel you are dining in a small italian village, eat here. If you want to feel like you got lost on the way to Olive Garden, try somewhere else. Cannot say enough about this food.

What a lovely place. The servers were so sweet and helped me choose between the two of their specials. I thoroughly enjoyed my salmon piccata, while my friend tried the baked stuffed haddock. I will definitely return here.
