Hoki Sushi - Neuville-sur-Oise

During my recent visit to this all-you-can-eat Japanese restaurant with three friends, the experience was both pleasant and disappointing. The warm welcome and the careful decoration of the place immediately create a friendly and inviting atmosphere. The table ordering system, allowing you to check off the desired dishes on a sheet, is very practical for a smooth and uninterrupted experience, with the possibility of ordering up to three times. Culinarily, the restaurant has notable successes as well as some disappointments. The makis and sushi stand out for their freshness and flavor, while the shrimp tempuras shine with their perfect crispiness. The skewers are also tasty and deserve a special mention. However, certain dishes like spring rolls and coleslaw, usually popular in Japanese restaurants, fell short of expectations here. The main downside lies in order management. Despite a promising concept, the execution disappoints. The requests specified on the order sheets were not respected on several occasions, despite our comments after the first round. This situation persisted in subsequent rounds, significantly affecting our experience. For example, of the 13 pairs of salmon sushi ordered, only four were served to us. This mismatch between the order and the service suggests a deliberate strategy by the establishment to limit consumption and make savings, which is unacceptable and demonstrates a lack of respect for customers.

It's been several years since we've been going to this restaurant or taking some food to take, and we've never been disappointed. Always welcomed with a smile, servers and waitresses are very friendly.

We love the concept at will of this restaurant, it's good, fresh, quick. The little hic is that sometimes the maki are big, sometimes small, a lot of error notes and servers that can pass 15 times in front of you without taking your sheet for the second or third round... But we go regularly. Watch out for a lot of people on the weekend.

Warm welcome, unlimited hot or cold dishes are made to order and served at your table (with a tablecloth and cloth napkin). Their products are fresh. I recommend it for the service/quality/price.
