Das Fritz - Neusiedl am See

I have passed by this restaurant a gazzilion times. from outside looks quite ordinary, not exactly ugly, but somhow uninviting. as I kept hearing from our friends what wonderful food they serve here, I decided to give it a try. everything was a nice surprise, from the cosy small garden, blocking away the noise of the street, to the staff and, yes, of course, the beautiful food! I am hooked to their fish soup now :))! will definitely visit again, in spite of somehow spicy prices!

We just find it by coincidence on the way to Wien. The white wines are very good and you can order in glass. I order a fish soup, and once I finish the soup, my stomach is almost half full. Very tasty soup. Later the escalope with potato salad, Ufff, I only can finish half. And the meat is very good.Two people with two full and satisfied stomaches only cost 70 euros.

Took us about four years to finally get there ... and still the expectations were quite fulfilled. I was impressed that Mr Tösch himself took my coat to the wardrobe - to me this is a sign of high-quality service when the owner seeks contact with his guests. Also the waiter was really kind and not too stiff as it could be expected in such an environment. The food was delicious tough to me it looked a bit better than it tasted. My expectations on Tafelspitz might have been different. Nevertheless I would go again and try something else ... most of all I appreciate the regional products they use. Thumbs up!

I went here with a work colleague for an early evening (6.30pm) dinner. Dedicated parking over the road was easy and the wooden panelled restaurant had a lovely, cosy (and classy!) feel.The menu contained many local specialities and it was served beautifully. The cooking and taste matched the presentation and the amuse bouche with freshly baked bread was an unexpected delight.Service was attentive but not obtrusive and we felt that, although it was not cheap, it was very fairly priced and I would not hesitate in recommending it.

We discovered the restaurant after a day at the lake. The high end restaurant offers excellent local cuisine and outstanding wines. Very good service, too. Prices are elevated, which is to be expected in such a place though
