Bidra med feedbackI have been going to Ron's Landmark since the early 80's. I moved out of state back in 1996. Every time I come back to Jersey to visit, Ron's Landmark is a must stop. Great food, friendly servers. See you next year Ron's Landmark!
Reasonable prices on the $14.95 early bird special Monday-Saturday 4-6. Large Italian entries. The place could use an update renovation
Excellent penne a la vodka. One of their best recipes. Atmosphere and service is top notch. Also enjoy the old school bar set up.
When you pull up to the place it really doesn't look like much. It looks like a ramshackle little building that appears as if it's been around for the last 60-70 years. The inside looks very dated and the bathrooms are incredibly small and at least the men's room smelled so much like a mildewy basement you could taste it. However, aside from the atmosphere of the place the service was great. Our server was very attentive and extremely polite and was by far one of best servers I have had in a very long time. Most importantly, the food is simply delicious. Our party had multiple spaghetti based dishes the best of which being the chicken francaise which was incredible. On the other end of the spectrum, my dish being the chicken parmesan was certainly good but wasn't anything to write home about. The chicken was great but the red sauce was a little too watery for my liking and didn't have a lot of flavor beyond just tomato paste. If you're looking for a nicer up-scale dining experience this is not the place for you but if you're willing to dive into a possibly sketchy looking local place what you'll find is a little small town, family owned, hole in the wall Italian restaurant with some great Italian food and you won't be disappointed.
Been coming to Ron's Landmark for decades. They even catered a couple parties for us. Excellent Italian food. Never had a bad meal here. Love the shrimp parm, veal parm, and eggplant rolentini just to mention a few. Prices are very reasonable too.
