Mezza Luna - NEPTUNE BEACH

We had a reservation for 6:45. It took about 45 minutes for them to ask for our orders and another 45 minutes to bring them out. We had to be at an event afterwards and asked to have them to-go. Once we finally got our food in boxes, it had clearly been sitting out for a while and was dry. The pasta had barely any sauce or flavor. Another group the same size as us was sat after us and was able to receive their food, pay, and leave before we got our order. The restaurant was not crowded, so there seemed to be no reason for slow service. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30

It was the only place on Atlantic beach that was able to please everyone in our party. They have great selection of dishes and drinks. Our food was served hot and tasted amazing. Our server was very attentive. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The reviews say it all. We were a party of five and the waitress was on top of everything. There was a live band that added to the already lively atmosphere. The Food. Apps: Truffle Fries What a delight this was. Perfectly seasoned, not too salty. Everyone enjoyed it Fried Calamari It was just the right consistency. Not too gummy and not too crumbly either. The sauce that accompanied it was perfect. Steak Tartare I couldn't get enough of it and kept going for more. Clam and Linguine I loved the sauce and the peppers? The clams were cooked just right so that they easily peeled off from their shells and we're not too mushy. The Drinks. Basil Grapefruit I can find myself easily drinking several of these in a night. I never thought Basil paired so well with grapefruit. I'll have to explore this more at home. Banana Colada It's a colada made just right. I think they dusted the top with some cinnamon (I think.... and it complimented the drink so well. I thought I was drinking a horchata. What a way to end the night. I'd love to come back again. Parking: It can be difficult finding parking near the restaurant during busy hours. They do offer valet.
