Food was beyond incredible, the staff were geniuses and there was some top notch beers as well

Such a fun and exciting venue. I absolutely love sitting out on the balcony on a nice warm day watching life go by. What better to accompany the “people watching” a than with such an encompassing range of beers! Hope Brewhouse is without a doubt one of my favourite breweries right now! Their range is exceptional and getting better at a rapid rate! If you’re lucky you’ll get the chance to try one of their specialty limited small batch beers.

Me and my wife decided to check this place out for dinner and a few drinks on a Saturday night. We ordered the 500 grams buffalo wings costing $18, arancini balls costing $16 and the steak burger costing $18. For the drinks I ordered a beer tasting plate consisting of four beers costing $12 and mescato cocktail. Every single food dish that we ordered was cooked to perfection and definitely hit the spot. The buffalo wings had the correct amount of spice and were packed full of flavour, it also came with a cheese aioli dipping sauce which topped it off. The arancini balls were to die for. They came with a aioli dipping sauce and were flavoursome, I almost didn't want them to end. The steak burger with chips was amazing. The steak was cooked perfectly and was juicy and tender. I also very much enjoyed the beer tasting plate. I think this is a really good idea for people like me looking the try all the different styles of tasty beer this place has to offer. Service was exceptional and the staff were friendly, making you feel welcomed within such a great environment. If you are thinking of checking this place out I would highly recommend that you do. I will definitely be comming back here next time I visit Nelsons bay and will also be telling friends and family to come here as I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. 5 STARS!

You get a tasting paddle with beers of your choice. The barman was very friendly, it's a nice location, kids can do colouring-in and lunch was good. One small suggestion is they should have umbrellas on the balcony because it gets very hot. Bring sunscreen!

Good value tasting paddles. Relaxed and friendly staff in an up-tempo atmosphere. Heavier ales seem to be their forte, with Indian Red Ale, Rye IPA, and Imperial IPAs all hitting the mark.
