Bidra med feedbackHad a good experience here! The staff was very kind and personable. It kind of had that ?Luke?s Diner? from Gilmore Girls sort of vibe. The Nashville hot chicken sandwich was amazing and super filling. It was a little more pricy than I anticipated, buthey, it?s Nashville.
Stopped here for dinner on a Wednesday night and found out trivia started at 7:00. Fun atmosphere, good menu with breakfast all day, and great ice cream and desserts. The clientele was 85% college kids from Vanderbilt and all of them had smiles on theirfaces and looked like they were having a great time. Definitely save room for ice cream.
Can't believe I never made it here the 9 years I lived in Nashville! My BIG mistake! Such nice people, incredible hand made shakes, sadly, we had the last of the Zingers (phosphates soda), since the server said they don't sell enough so they arediscontinuing it. Since 1939. How can you go wrong with a place that not only survived, but, THRIVED that long in NASHVILLE!This isn't an easy city to please! With ever changing neighborhoods, a plethora of delicious food from all kinds of cultures,Ellison Place has always been a staple. We will DEFINITELY be back on our next trip! So many more things to try there! Love thewalk up window! Love all the smiles from the staff!
Excellent, but there are better meat and threes if that?s what you?re after! (Arnold?s) We went with the intention to try some more ?soda shop? selections but once we looked at the menu we had to try some meat and three options. They were great! I hadTurkey Dressing and my sis had the chicken and dumplings. Both we?re very good. For sides we had turnip greens, mashedpotatoes and gravy, and green beans. All fantastic. We topped it off with milkshakes to-go which were also fantastic. I lookforward to going back to try a burger or something more traditional to soda shops.
Beautiful classic soda shop, loved meat 3 and ice. next time it would love to try the breakfast!
