Middletown Tavern - Naples

Awesome bartenders, awesome menu prices (typical pub grub) and great atmosphere!!

Great food, small town local atmosphere, reasonable prices, beer battered shrimp where the bomb

Visited for dinner on Saturday 3/20/21 and had an outstanding deluxe burger for $6.95. My friend had a BLT, which is how she decides whether she likes a restaurant. I added a side of steak fries, she added a salad (a bit boring, but no big deal), and I had a beer. $24 for the whole thing. What a bargain! This is the second time we've been there and in both both instances, the staff was super friendly and helpful. There's plenty of space between tables. This place ONLY TAKES CASH, and there's an ATM machine.

We ordered two takeout orders of wings and were disappointed with the service. Despite arriving after us, several customers received their meals while we waited. When we inquired about our order, we were told it was the next in line. However, we continued to watch as more patrons who ordered after us were served. After over an hour of waiting, we discovered that our wings had been sitting at the bar unattended. I approached the bartender to ask how long they had been there, but she was quite rude. She gestured with her fingers to indicate that crispy wings take 22 minutes, flicking her fingers up and down. I then pointed out that if wings only take 22 minutes, it made no sense that we had been waiting over an hour without any update. In response, she yelled at me to leave! Is it really unjustified to question the long wait for two orders of wings? Unfortunately, this was a place we frequently visited during our motorcycle rides, but after this experience, we will be skipping it in the future. I will also be advising everyone I know to avoid Middletown Tavern at all costs!

This is a fantastic place to grab a few drinks. The staff is very friendly, and the food was delicious. I felt right at home, despite being so far away.
