CityGate Grille - Naperville

My wife and I always come to this restaurant and it never fails to impress us. The food was fantastic and a big thank you to Miguel for his exceptional service!

My husband and I went for his birthday. Genesis was our waitress! She is amazing! She made sure our night was perfect and made us feel special! The food was great but the jazz band trio was the best!!!! We loved the restaurant so much that we came back the next day for drinks and to watch the next jazz band! Thanks again, Genesis!

Will be back soon! My wife, young son and I had dinner here on a Saturday night and can’t say enough great things about it. Food: The pita and garlic oil dip was a great way to start while waiting for our avgolemono soup., which was delicious. Generous pieces of chicken and just the right amount of lemon. We had the Greek Bass (branzino) and the Shrimp and scallop risotto. Both were great, flavorful and not overcooked. For dessert we shared the Apple crisp and we wish we would have gotten another Service: Miguel and Rebecca took such great care of us. Attentive but not overbearing. Augustus (manager)stopped by our table and spent time talking to us and made us feel welcome. He was so welcoming and engaging. They all made us feel like he was happy we were there rather than we were privileged to be in the restaurant, like so many places do today. Ambience: it’s a beautiful restaurant. Not too dark or loud and there was a jazz ensemble playing that heightened the feeling to an old school fine dining restautant, but there was none of the pretentiousness.

Genesis was a great server. She provided good recommendations, was friendly, and respectful at all times. Thanks Genesis.

This was my first time visiting this restaurant and I absolutely loved everything about it! The atmosphere, food, and service were all impeccable. Our server, Genesis, was extremely knowledgeable about the menu, made great recommendations, and exhibited excellent customer service skills and professionalism.
