Bidra med feedbackAfter a long trip from NY, once we got off the boat to land in Nantucket, this is the first awesome spot to get a drink, so strong that we felt so sober-: good service too! A got spot for crowd watching.
Ate there yesterday. Burgers wonderful. Waitress attentive. Always go there when on island.
Now, about the food: the calamari was delicious, and the chowder was good. However, the mozzarella sticks were disappointing. They lacked flavor, the dipping sauce wasn't impressive, and the sticks themselves seemed undercooked; when you bit into them, the cheese pulled out in one piece, which wasn’t very appetizing. Still, we finished them rather than waste food, as we don't like to throw away anything unless it's truly inedible. While this restaurant might not make our regular list of favorites, we wouldn’t avoid it either. It’s worth a visit if you're just looking for a quick bite, as they have both indoor and outdoor seating options.
I really enjoyed the selection of food and the location right by the ferry. It's a great spot to pass the time while waiting for the boat, and it seems like it could be a fun place in the evening as well. The atmosphere is lovely, especially since it's in a cozy small room.
The restaurant offers a great variety of local beers and stunning views of the water. It tends to be quite busy, similar to a downtown vibe. It's a nice spot to grab a drink and take in the scenery. However, as others have pointed out, the food is only average. It could benefit from improved spices and higher-quality ingredients, but overall, it's decent for simple fare. The staff is friendly, making it an enjoyable place to relax.
