Barburrito - Nanaimo

This place has the best burritos I have ever eaten at a quick walk through Mexican art square. the price is great, and the taste is even better. I highly recommend trying to eat them when they are near one of their standpoints.

The food was good, but the guac was definitely not fresh, a waste of money spent on guac : . We also got a churro with dipping sauce and the amount of dipping sauce was less than adequate.

Overall had a great experience with this restaurant. However, the new lady only gave 1 tiny scoop of everything, and the bowl is not even full. From my order, I can literally count the numbers of grains of rice. Please fill the bowl up next time. Otherwise it is unacceptable. Thanks!

Had the Bang bang shrimp bowl in the summer of 2021. It was amazing, with fresh fried shrimp. We were excited to go back and have it again this year. Unfortunately they have decided to pre cook the shrimp and leave them sitting in a warming tray for what seemed to be several hours too long. The shrimp were also so over cooked they had become little black pieces of leather. We ate half our meals and threw the rest out. I would never get this meal again if they continue to prepare it this way. If the restaurant reads these please go back to how you prepared this last year!

The ingredients didn’t look amazing but I was hungry and decided to buy it anyway. Big mistake, it tasted fine at the start where there was more rice but when I got to the middle of the burrito, where the lettuce and crispy chicken was, it was terrible. The lettuce was soggy and when I looked at it was brown. The crispy chicken was soggy and didn’t taste good. To sum it up I would not recommend this restaurant because of the poor service, bad food, etc. (written by my 13 yr old son)
