Bidra med feedbackI have eaten at Casa Tomas many times over the years and they have (had) the best queso in Nacogdoches. Last week when we ate there, the food was terrible ?. The restaurant wasn't very busy, maybe 30% of the tables were occupied. I don't think there were more than 2 servers for the whole restaurant. Our chips, salsa, and drinks ran out for long periods of time. Our food seemed to have taken a long time to arrive, despite the restaurant being mostly empty. My husband is NOT a picky eater, and he couldn't eat his food it was so bad. Same goes for my son and myself. The taco on my plate was the only edible part of my order. Our server was either completely overwhelmed, new, or just plain inattentive.I'm not one who frequently gives poor reviews, but unfortunately this one is well deserved. We won't be going back. ?
I visited at lunch time, and the quesadillas were pretty authentic. I wish I had the chance to have the margaritas, but will definitely revisit when I am in the area.
Shells are hard and too thick for tacos and the chili for enchiladas was not to yummy
It's fine. Could be so much better. The Spanish rice was dry and almost tasteless. C'mon y'all, put some more tomato on there and make it moist and delicious. This is not rocket science. More meat on the tacos too please. Tortilla soup was really good though.
Wonderful experience. When my order came out a bit disappointing, they went over and above to make it right. Great food and service. Amazing people.
