Bidra med feedbackLocated along the Nakagawa River, this restaurant specializing in ayu dishes is a place I visit every year. Previously, there was a grill (yana) here, but now it is a restaurant focusing on ayu dishes. You can enjoy ayu grilled slowly on a hearth. Combined with the atmosphere, it is incredibly delicious! There is complimentary water available inside, as well as vending machines. There are also chair seats, making it suitable for elderly customers as well.
läs merI visited the restaurant again this year. I don't know if it was because it was later than usual, but I enjoyed the delicious ayu with roe, which was very fluffy.
The ayu sashimi had no fishy taste and even kids could enjoy it. The fried ayu skin was crispy like a snack with just the right amount of salt, very delicious. The river in front of the restaurant was shallow and kids could play in it, and there was even a small pool which made the children very happy. However, the restroom was located on the opposite side of the road and felt a bit old.
